Welcome to E.ON – together we drive the energy transition
Do you want to contribute to solutions that make a real difference for the climate and society? At E.ON, we work together with our customers and partners to create sustainable energy solutions for the future. We believe in collaboration, long-term thinking, and that development happens best when people share knowledge and work together – and we hope you want to be a part of that journey.
About us
E.ON Energy Infrastructure operates, develops, and optimizes large-scale combined heat and power plants in four locations in Sweden. Our products are district heating, electricity, and steam. We are now looking for a Commercial Project Manager for the CTO/Strategic Projects department.
The department works on strategic projects within Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) with the goal of creating sustainable, efficient, and long-term energy solutions. Here, you will be part of a context where technology, business, and sustainability meet.
About the position
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will play a central role in developing and driving commercial projects in large-scale energy initiatives. You will work with financial modeling and business solutions throughout the entire value chain, from early analysis to implementation.
The role involves developing CCU and CCS projects by leading market and competitor analyses and contributing to the development of pricing models. You will work closely with customers in international project contexts, including biogenic carbon dioxide and Carbon Removal Credits, and lead negotiations within relevant contractual areas.
In this role, you will drive the development of our solution portfolio and actively contribute to establishing E.ON in new markets. With a playmaker mindset, you approach tasks with commitment and a desire to make a difference. You will be responsible for customer dialogues, concept development, proposal work, and project development up to investment decisions and contract signing. You will develop business cases and integrated energy concepts, lead negotiations, and present proposals to customers and E.ON's management in a clear and inclusive manner. As a project manager, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary and international team to ensure quality and progress. You will create new business opportunities, build long-term relationships, and proactively work to exceed customer expectations through a holistic view and a sustainable approach.
You will also have a coordinating role towards consultants, suppliers, and partners, contributing to structure and clarity through the development of relevant KPIs. Travel is required, mainly within Sweden but also in Northern and Western Europe.
Your experiences
We are looking for someone with experience in commercial project management, preferably within energy or industry-related sectors. You have an educational background in industrial economics or engineering and thrive in roles where business, technology, and sustainability intersect.
You have experience with commercial projects, financial modeling, and contract-related negotiations, preferably within the energy or chemical industry. At the same time, you are curious, learning-oriented, and open to developing together with others.
As a person, you take responsibility for your work and thrive in contexts where collaboration and dialogue are important success factors. You work in a structured and analytical manner, with a solution-oriented approach, and are happy to share your knowledge with the team. Well-documented leadership experience is something you will benefit from in this role.
You are comfortable in social settings with many points of contact – customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders – and value building trusting and long-term relationships. Your ability to contribute to projects that create real and sustainable benefits is something we highly value.
What is it like to work with us?
With us, you will encounter an inclusive, unpretentious, and supportive culture where engagement, trust, and collaboration are at the center. Your manager, Anders Svensson, leads with a coaching and present leadership style and creates good conditions for you to feel secure, take responsibility, and develop in your role.
We encourage new ideas, value different perspectives, and enjoy having fun together in everyday life.
Warm welcome to apply and join us on the path towards a sustainable society!Application deadline:
