Do you want a varied role where you have great responsibility and the opportunity to influence both working methods and results? Stålöv is now looking for a maintenance technician who wants to work broadly with preventive, emergency, and predictive maintenance in a modern industrial operation.

Here you will have a central role in production where you plan, drive, and develop maintenance work together with the production manager and colleagues.

About the role

As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring that maintenance operates efficiently and sustainably. You work both operationally and coordinatively and play an important role in ensuring operational reliability, quality, and a safe working environment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Working with emergency, preventive, and predictive maintenance

  • Planning and following up maintenance together with the production manager

  • Leading and distributing work within maintenance

  • Actively participating in maintenance and troubleshooting work

  • Ensuring that routines, safety requirements, and environmental goals are followed

  • Introducing and supporting employees in working methods and routines

  • Having external contacts, e.g., ordering service for robots, CNC machines, and electricians

  • Ensuring that maintenance systems and documentation are kept up to date

You will work from a maintenance plan that you help develop, and your workdays will be varied.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility. You thrive in a role where you plan, prioritize, and drive work forward.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

  • Have experience in maintenance work or machining industry

  • Have a high school technical or workshop education, or equivalent experience

  • Have basic knowledge in maintenance, safety, quality, and environment

  • Enjoy troubleshooting, assembling, and solving practical problems

  • Have good collaboration skills and are comfortable with external contacts

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with CNC or automated production

  • Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Experience with maintenance systems, preferably Monitor

We place great importance on your ability to work both emergency, preventive, and predictive – not just solving problems but also anticipating them before they arise.

About the position

  • Working hours: Daytime

  • Employment: Permanent

  • Start: Immediately or by agreement

  • Salary: Individual salary setting

You have the authority to prioritize and distribute work and to stop production in case of environmental, health, or safety risks.
