Your Main Responsibilities.

In your role as a bid manager, you will be responsible for our bids to our public clients within municipalities, regions, and the state. This means that you will:

  • Analyze bids, both before submission and after the bid response
  • Continuously analyze complex information to make business decisions
  • Prepare documentation and materials needed to compile a bid to be submitted

You will report to the Business Manager for Public Sales in Halmstad. Our clients are within municipalities, regions, and the state, generating approximately 4.6 billion SEK annually. You have colleagues in three locations in Sweden where collaboration is important to meet future demands. The organizational structure of Public Sales allows you to significantly influence working methods. Some collaboration occurs in project form. In this role, you are part of the team in Halmstad, but since we also have bid managers in several locations, we see that you can work from either Norrköping or Umeå.

Important for the Job to Suit You.

To handle the tasks, you are used to working independently, and you are interested in creating profitable business. You are meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented. A methodical approach and good analytical skills are prerequisites for success as a bid manager. At the same time, you should be flexible and enjoy problem-solving. The majority of your time will be spent working in our various business systems, Excel, and BI tools. To Succeed in the Role, We Also Believe You Have:

  • Relevant theoretical education, at least a high school diploma preferably with a focus on economics or food. Relevant post-secondary education is an advantage.
  • Experience in analyzing information
  • Good knowledge and strong interest in Excel
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Knowledge of tender documents is an advantage
  • Experience in procurement or bid work is an advantage
