Job Advertisement: Patient-Centered Service Positions at the Dialysis Unit

Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local health care areas. The local health care area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these aim to provide good and accessible care.

The Medical and Geriatric Clinic is part of the local health care area of Skellefteå and is one of the largest clinics at Skellefteå Hospital with approximately 300 employees. The operations consist of both outpatient and inpatient care with a wide range of various specialties.

The clinic's care places are distributed based on medical and geriatric orientations. The majority of admissions are acute and occur via the emergency department. The outpatient operations consist of medical, geriatric, and dialysis clinics. Within the medical clinic, there are also day care services and a physiological laboratory.

The clinic also includes a research unit, which is unique for a regional hospital.

We are now looking for two new colleagues for patient-centered service positions (service assistants) at the dialysis unit who want to work with us this summer!

RESPONSIBILITIES

At our medical clinic, you will play an important role in the daily work!

You will work closely with nurses and nursing assistants and help with daily tasks. This may include cleaning patient beds, unpacking supplies, managing the patient kitchen, and serving lunch and snacks to our patients. The tasks can be adapted and developed based on your previous experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and has a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Previous experience in healthcare is an advantage but not a requirement.
