About the role

As a project manager, you are a key person in the operation and maintenance work as well as in new installations of street lighting. You work closely with customers, installers, and various professional groups to ensure quality and efficiency in the execution. Material management, quotation work, approval of working hours, and invoicing are part of the responsibility, as well as representing the department in the management group and contributing to strategic decisions.

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and practically minded, with the ability to understand and coordinate the work of the installers. With a strong focus on collaboration and customer dialogue, you will have the opportunity to take a central and responsible role in our client's operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the work in public lighting, i.e. street lighting, you direct the work based on completed documents.
  • Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of public lighting through service and new installation assignments.
  • Have daily dialogue and collaborate with the customer and colleagues to ensure the progress of the projects.
  • Coordinate various professional groups and ensure smooth cooperation between all parties, both internally and externally.
  • Be responsible for material management, orders, and calculating material needs for the projects.
  • Approve working hours.
  • Invoicing to the customer.
  • You primarily work in the office but need to understand the practical work so you can lead the installers.
  • In this role, you are also part of the management group to represent what is best for the department.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, we see that you have a background in electrical work, either as an installer, supervisor, or project manager in electrical or public lighting. We also see that you are practically minded so you can lead the installers and coordinate the projects.

Requirements:

  • High school education in electrical work.
  • At least 12 months of experience as a project manager or supervisor in electrical work, alternatively 3+ years of experience as an installer in electrical work.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Driving license B.

Meritorious:

  • Additional knowledge in electrical installation.
  • Education at YH or university level in areas such as electrical work, installation, and automation.
