Summer Job in the Property Department
The Property Department is responsible for nearly 750 residences, and we are looking for two employees for our housing group for inspections this summer.
We are particularly targeting those of you who are university or college students.

Job Responsibilities
Seize the opportunity to work behind the scenes at a prominent institution and help us create lasting memories for our international tenants. You will be part of a team that works during the summer to inspect residences and handle maintenance requests. Your role is vital to ensure that Stockholm University's residences are in good condition and ready for incoming tenants.
You will inspect residences located in northern Stockholm by carefully documenting the condition of the apartments after tenants have moved out. You will prepare residences for new tenants by performing simple tasks such as changing light bulbs, activating smoke detectors, and removing leftover items. If you discover deficiencies in the residences, you will report them to the landlord. Administrative tasks, such as managing incoming emails and maintenance requests, are also included. Communication with tenants primarily occurs in English. Other tasks within the scope of the Property Department's responsibilities may arise.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed high school education.
- Manual B driver's license.
- Basic knowledge of the Office suite.
- Can perform light lifting in the job.
- Communicates well in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in inspecting residences or properties is desirable.
Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities, your commitment, and your ability to collaborate. It is also important that you are meticulous and structured in your work to ensure that inspections and other preparations are carried out correctly.
About the Employment
The position is full-time and temporary from 2026-06-08 to 2026-08-28. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Weekend work is compensated.
Working Hours
Weekdays: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Two full days during “Arrival Days” on August 22 – 23
