Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter is a municipal company that owns and manages most of Huddinge's schools and preschools, as well as the municipality's nursing homes, sports halls, and outdoor facilities. Our mission also includes management assignments for municipally owned premises and buildings. We have about 120 employees.
Do you want to help shape the structure for how properties should be managed efficiently and sustainably? As a Property Technician, you will step into a developing assignment where your experiences and practical skills will be utilized. The role combines practical work with the opportunity to influence routines, working methods, and priorities for a long-term functioning management.
We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Property Technician who wants to work with a varied and socially important property portfolio that we manage on behalf of Huddinge Municipality. The portfolio primarily consists of: Leasehold farms with associated land, buildings within nature conservation areas, buildings within development properties, and condominiums.
As a Property Technician, you will be part of a team that drives the assignment together. The team currently includes property managers, assistant property managers, and management assistants, and you will work closely together to create a well-functioning, safe, and sustainable management. Your role is particularly important in the practical and technical work – both in everyday tasks and in more long-term efforts.
The role combines responsibility for operations, maintenance, self-inspections, and contractor follow-ups with performing tasks yourself. You will play an important role in preserving, developing, and ensuring the function of both modern and culturally valuable buildings. Our mission is under development, and you will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and experiences to this work to develop effective management.
Further description and examples of tasks:
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections of properties.
- Conduct SBA rounds and other self-inspections.
- Manage cases in the property system and provide feedback to tenants.
- Order smaller contracting works and communicate with suppliers.
- Participate in authority inspections and ensure that measures are implemented.
- Propose improvements and contribute to the development of our property portfolio.
- Be responsible for orders, follow-ups, and control of your own ordered work regarding assignments, prices, and quality according to applicable building regulations and occupational safety requirements.
- Some administrative work consisting of ongoing reporting and electronic invoice management.
Your qualifications
- Relevant education in property technology, construction, electrical, HVAC, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in property maintenance, operations, or building maintenance.
- Practical experience as a carpenter or documented construction technical competence.
- Experience with SBA work and self-inspections.
- Good knowledge of the Office package and familiarity with administrative systems.
- Driver's license B.
Meritorious
- Experience working with culturally valuable buildings and traditional building methods.
- Experience working with agricultural properties.
- Experience working with buildings in nature conservation areas.
- Experience coordinating, ordering, and following up contractors' work.
