Tourist Informant in Mariestad

As a tourist informant in Mariestad, you have a fun and varied summer job with the main task of advising and inspiring our visitors to have the best possible experience. You will be part of a small team in the business unit of Mariestad municipality.

We are now looking for two positive and service-oriented tourist informants who can work between the period of June 22 - August 16. The employment is 75% and you will work on a schedule that includes daytime and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you are often the visitor's first encounter with Mariestad and an important part of our hospitality. You assist people on-site and digitally to experience everything Mariestad has to offer, making them feel welcome and wanting to stay longer and return.

You meet guests at various locations in the municipality with our mobile operation. You answer questions during physical meetings, by phone, and via email. You inspire and inform about experiences, accommodation, restaurants, cafes, and events, and help guests with their inquiries. Your responsibilities also include delivering informational materials to InfoPoints.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a good ambassador for Mariestad, enjoys meeting people, and providing service. You are self-driven, flexible, and good at collaborating.

Furthermore, we also see that you:

• have very good knowledge of Mariestad.
• are familiar with Västra Götaland and the rest of Sweden.
• master Swedish fluently in speech and writing.
• have very good knowledge of English (German is a plus).
• have experience and interest in service. Relevant education is an advantage.
• are digitally savvy in searching for information and handling apps.
• have a B driver's license.
