We are looking for an Operational Purchaser for a summer assignment with our client in Strängnäs!

About the position

The role includes both strategic and operational work where you will work independently as well as in a team.

• Adapt and develop the organization’s external relationships, processes, systems, physical flows, information flows, etc.

• Participate in development projects within the defined area of work

• Work with daily problem-solving

• Focus on operational purchasing work

• Perform operational purchasing from suppliers (e.g., order placement, order monitoring, delivery monitoring)

• Handle transport bookings, deviation management/investigation, support purchases, invoice control, and other applicable activities within the framework of operational purchasing

• Update, maintain, and ensure that relevant IT systems are kept up to date with correct order data (e.g., delivery notifications)

• Maintain inventory management and purchasing parameters in relevant IT systems

• Ensure availability and correct capital binding levels based on established KPIs

• Escalate deficiencies in individual products and/or inadequate suppliers

• Compile necessary statistics to enable analysis and follow-up with suppliers

• Respond to inquiries from customers and other stakeholders (e.g., lead time, delivery notifications)

• Work with continuous improvements and use a LEAN-inspired approach in daily work

About you

We prefer that you are an outgoing person with a great interest and good service ability. You should be flexible, responsive to the organization and employees, with a good ability to prioritize depending on the work situation.

• Have work experience or experience from studies in similar positions/areas

• Be available to work during the summer without time off

About the assignment

This is a full-time assignment during the summer, 08:00-17:00 on-site with the client in Strängnäs.

You will be employed by us at Arena Personal during this time.
