We are now looking for a nursing assistant for a temporary position!

The Infectious Disease Department 22 is an acute department with admissions around the clock. Our task is to provide qualified care, treatment, and nursing for patients with acute, chronic, infectious, and non-infectious diseases. This means that as a nursing assistant with us, you will have many stimulating tasks and face new challenges in your work. The department is in continuous development as the infection panorama changes, both globally and in Sweden. It is a pleasant department with an open climate and good cooperation between all professional categories. We hope that you want to be a part of our team!

The Infectious Disease Department is located next to our infectious disease clinic, where we also have our needle exchange clinic. Thus, we are close to our doctors and colleagues at the clinic.

Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will work with all tasks that occur in a care department, such as personal care, support during meals, sampling, checks, observations, as well as documentation and reporting of the patient's condition. You will assist nurses and doctors during examinations and treatments and contribute to the patient's entire care process for a safe and secure discharge.

High demands are placed on a hygienic working method, where active risk thinking in everyday life forms the basis for preventing the spread of infection between patients and from patients to staff. The work also includes mentoring any new staff and students, as well as contributing to the development of the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. Experience in infectious disease care is an advantage, but you will gain that with us. If you are flexible, responsible, and have a positive attitude and find emergency care enjoyable, you could be the one we are looking for!

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
