JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant at Stadsskogens elderly care home, you work from a salutogenic approach, focusing on the user's own resources, abilities, and possibilities. The work is based on the individual’s needs and wishes and is continuously adapted, as needs may vary from day to day.

In the role of nursing assistant, you are responsible for contributing to good and safe care in accordance with applicable guidelines and legislation. You provide professional care through support and service that promotes safety, participation, and quality of life for each user. Health and medical tasks are performed on delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), with precision and a sense of responsibility.

You are a present and significant person in the user's daily life and contribute to social interaction as well as enable meaningful and individually tailored activities. The work includes participating in welcome conversations and establishing, following up, and documenting implementation plans in the organization’s digital system, to ensure quality and continuity in care.

Furthermore, you actively participate in planning, development work, and quality improvements within the organization. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a meaningful and safe everyday life for our users. As a nursing assistant with us, you are an important part of the work with continuous improvements, where even small changes in daily work can lead to significant improvements for both users and the work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• You are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in elderly care or other healthcare activities
• Previous experience working with welfare technology in care and support is seen as a valuable competence in the organization.
