Description

The unit for social workers, dietitians, and rehabilitation coordinators consists of 28 positions.

The work field extends across outpatient clinics and departments within somatic healthcare at Skaraborg Hospital.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a dietitian to join our dedicated team in pediatric and adolescent medicine!

In Skövde, three pediatric dietitians work together, responsible for both inpatient care (children's ward and neonatal unit) and outpatient care (children's clinic and day care). The dietitians have a shared clinic and collaborate closely, covering for each other during absences and vacations. In Lidköping, there is another pediatric dietitian working with the children's clinic and day care.

The available position is primarily located in Skövde, but work at other locations may be required as needed. You will become part of a knowledgeable and warm dietitian team with extensive experience in pediatric and adolescent care.

As a dietitian with us, you will work closely with nurses, doctors, speech therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and other professionals around the patient. The job responsibilities include individual dietary consultations and group meetings for patients and relatives, assessment, evaluation, and dietary treatment for various medical conditions, as well as prescribing dietary supplements and enteral nutrition as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed dietitian and preferably has experience working as a dietitian, and even better if you have worked as a pediatric dietitian. You should enjoy working in an engaged, interdisciplinary team where the patient is always the focus.

You have a consultative, flexible, and unpretentious working style and are attentive and service-oriented in your interactions with both patients, relatives, and colleagues.

We appreciate if you have experience or a particular interest in pediatric and adolescent medicine, but the most important thing is that you want to grow with us and contribute to safe and quality care for our youngest patients.
