Special Teacher/Special Educator Wanted at Viktor Rydberg School Nacka

We are looking for an engaged and driven special teacher or special educator for Viktor Rydberg School Nacka, a K-6 school in Fisksätra. We seek someone who wants to work closely with students and drive special educational development together with us. The position is permanent and part-time/full-time (80-100%) with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

The Viktor Rydberg Schools Foundation's operations are innovative and characterized by high quality and a desire to learn – both for students and staff. We learn together, and through that, we achieve more. The Viktor Rydberg Schools consist of three high schools and four primary schools, of which the seventh primary school started in August 2021 in Fisksätra. Viktor Rydberg School Nacka is growing for the upcoming school year, and we therefore need to expand with special teachers or special educators now.

You are structured and good at building relationships and enjoy working with students and contributing to their success.

You have good digital competence and are updated on compensatory aids and can use these in teaching.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with multilingual students.

You have knowledge and experience in writing assessments and action plans but are also used to working with students and teachers in the classroom. At the school, we work systematically with, for example, intensive reading, reading groups, and literature.

As a staff member at VRS Nacka, you need to be a good team player while being independent and confident in your role as a special educator/special teacher. Flexibility is also a prerequisite as rapid changes can occur in a school that is constantly evolving.

You will be part of the school's student health team where you work both strategically and operationally and contribute your expertise in various matters as well as to the systematic quality work.
