We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced swimming instructors who are passionate about children and swimming!

What does one do?

As a swimming instructor, you will be in the water with the children and conduct lessons together with your colleagues. The goal is for the children to learn to swim, feel safe, and have fun with you during the process!

We are looking for You who enjoys being in the water and likes working with children. You are committed and a good team player. We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced candidates:

Requirements for inexperienced:

• You do not need any prior experience working with children or water, but it is an advantage.
• Swimming ability (200 m swimming, of which 50 on your back)
• Must be at least 15 years old.

Requirements for experienced:

• Have worked with a swimming club/swimming company for at least 3 terms, have a good knowledge of technique and all different swimming styles.
• If you have been a swimmer or have trained in swimming, that is an advantage.

About the association

Södertörns Simsällskap is a non-profit organization with over 2000 members. We operate in Huddinge and Haninge municipalities: Huddingehallen, Torvalla swimming hall, Vårby swimming hall, and Skogåshallen. Our broad activities (swimming school, technique school, and adult swimming) are conducted at different levels for everyone from 4 months to 100 years old. The goal of our activities is to increase swimming proficiency and the spread of the sport. As a club, we aim to provide an open climate and respect for the equal value of all individuals.
