About the Job
The European School Luxembourg I has approximately 3,350 students in ten different language sections, distributed across Nursery (4-5 years), Primary (6-10 years), and Secondary (11-18 years). Daily work-related issues are handled by the local school management.
The working language with students, parents, and colleagues within the Swedish language section is Swedish. The Swedish teaching team in Secondary consists of 7 teachers, and together you will drive the section's joint efforts and contribute to maintaining Swedish holidays and traditions. You will also collaborate with staff from other language sections, communicating in one of the official working languages of the EU (English, German, or French).
A cultural and pedagogical exchange between staff and students is one of the core ideas within the European School. You will also have close contact with the students' guardians.
