Planner/Care Assistant at Antuna in Aneby Municipality

Are you a trained care assistant with the ability and interest to act as the spider in the web? Then we have the job for you! We are looking for a planner for our special accommodation, Antuna, in Aneby Municipality, with combined tasks also as a care assistant in the operation. As a planner/care assistant, you will work closely with colleagues and two unit managers. You will be one of several with assignments in planning in the municipality and will be involved in the future development of the role.

About the Role

The employment is as a planner, but the position is a combination of the roles of planner and care assistant. The distribution between the different roles will be approximately 60% planner and 40% as a care assistant in the operation.

As a planner, you have primary responsibility for staffing during illness and other absences related to planning in the operation. You will also work with planning approved interventions in our planning tool. You will have continuous contact with the manager and other internal and external actors to coordinate staffing and schedules. As a planner, you are a supportive function for the unit manager and receive information from both staff and other stakeholders to create good planning for the operation.

As a care assistant, you will work in our special accommodation, close to our users and support them in their daily lives through personal care and support. You contribute to meeting the individual’s basic and specific care and nursing needs, both socially and culturally as well as physically and mentally. You do this by respecting each person's right to privacy, integrity, self-determination, and participation. You work with individual adaptation so that the individual can live a dignified life and feel well-being.

Common Tasks Include:

  • Receiving absence notifications
  • Ensuring that the operation has the right staffing
  • Assisting with schedules
  • Managing alarm systems/alarm items
  • Handling orders and receiving deliveries
  • Planning approved interventions in the planning tool
  • Personal care and support for users
  • Social documentation
  • Medication delegation

Who You Are

You who are applying should be a trained care assistant with good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should also have your certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare stating that you are allowed to use the protected professional title of care assistant, as well as good knowledge of various Microsoft systems. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. It is also an advantage if you have:

  • Previous work experience in staffing planning
  • Previous work experience in administrative tasks
  • Previous work experience as a care assistant
  • Experience working in Combine and/or Medvind
  • Interest in scheduling

As a person, you have a personal maturity that makes you secure and stable while being flexible. Furthermore, you are a structured person who can plan, organize, and prioritize your work and you have the ability to view issues from a holistic perspective. Finally, you have a positive attitude towards work and find it easy to collaborate, are accommodating, and have clear communication. Your approach is characterized by calmness where you show interest, willingness, and ability to motivate and help others. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
