We are a team of seven people working closely together, where we see our different experiences and knowledge as strengths. You will contribute additional skills to our team.

The Labor Market Unit provides support to individuals who are far from the labor market, with the goal of improving their chances of finding work or education.

You will be part of the Labor Market Unit team and work closely with the business community, the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Jönköping County, the Finnveden Coordination Association, the Gnosjö Spirit Knowledge Center, and the municipality's other administrations and operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a job coach, your primary task is to coach individuals towards work or education based on the individual's circumstances and the needs of the labor market. Together with other staff in the unit, the goal is to create the best possible conditions for individuals to reach regular work or education. In this way, you contribute to a socially sustainable Gnosjö municipality with a focus on the challenges of the business community's skills supply.

You will help individuals recognize and utilize their own strengths and abilities through motivational work. You will contribute to promoting, improving, and/or maintaining the individual's health, identifying barriers, and seeking sustainable solutions. You will plan and lead work training with good quality, as well as conduct work capacity assessments. You will carry out progress measurements and create action plans together with individuals. You may also be responsible for various short- and long-term projects.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team. You should be motivated by taking on challenges both independently and in collaboration with others. You will have a great opportunity to be introduced to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of job coach, we are looking for someone who is driven and engaged in meetings with people. You see the whole picture and the conditions for each individual. You should easily connect with new people, have great listening skills, and possess a lot of social competence.

You should be able to create an overview in both thought and work. To succeed really well, we also believe you have experience in conducting conversations, both individually and in groups, and have experience working from a diversity perspective. You need to have good collaboration skills to maintain and develop the cooperation required for the assignment.

You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a good ability to independently create the structure and administration that the position requires.

Requirements for the position:

• You are a licensed occupational therapist or have an education that the employer deems equivalent.
• If you have experience in investigative work or work-oriented rehabilitation, we consider that an advantage.
• If you have worked in a coaching/motivational capacity in labor market issues with individuals who are far from the labor market, we consider that an advantage.
• A driver's license is required.
• We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

For the position, you must have the right to work in Sweden and be able to show citizenship.
