Welcome to our world! 👑

Our vision is a world that feels good – and you can help us make that vision a reality.

We believe that meaningful tasks, strong team relationships, and a generous dose of laughter create a work environment that inspires and strengthens both us and our customers. With a focus on both the here and now, and the future, we contribute together to a world that feels good. 🌍

We are now looking for a dedicated pharmacy technician for Kronans Apotek Heby

– a pleasant and well-functioning rural pharmacy with strong local roots.

The pharmacy is strategically located next to Heby's large healthcare center with a wide range of healthcare services. Here you will find, among others, general practitioners, district nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, and dentists – which gives us a natural and close collaboration with healthcare and a steady customer flow.

Heby also has good commuting options with both bus and train, and is located near Uppsala, Västerås, Enköping, and Sala.

A strong team – both locally and in clusters

With us, you will be part of a dedicated team consisting of 3 pharmacists and 1 pharmacy technician. We work closely together in our daily routines, support one another, and value good collaboration and a positive atmosphere.

We are also part of a cluster together with Kronans Apotek Nyby and Storvreta in Uppsala, which means you will also be part of a larger context. Here, there are opportunities for exchanging experiences, collaborating across pharmacy boundaries, and a broader team spirit.

Benefits of working at a rural pharmacy

Working with us means:

  • Close and personal customer relationships – many regular customers
  • A large proportion of elderly customers where your advice truly makes a difference
  • A calmer pace than at larger city pharmacies
  • Overall responsibility and variety in tasks
  • Clear team spirit and good collaboration
  • The opportunity to truly become a part of the local community

With us, you are not just “one of the crowd” – you become an important and appreciated part of both the team and the community.

You will be our expert on over-the-counter medications and self-care products. The daily work is varied and includes:

  • Advising and selling self-care products
  • Working with prescription medications based on your prescription competence
  • Exposure and ordering of goods
  • Cash handling and inventory management
  • Participation in campaigns and quality work
  • Creating a positive customer experience in every interaction with the team

You will work in a competent and collaborative team where we support each other and maintain a good working climate.

Working hours that provide balance

The pharmacy has very attractive opening hours:

Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30
Closed weekends

This means no evening or weekend shifts – a great advantage for those who value work-life balance.

We offer permanent employment. Working hours according to agreement. You will belong to pharmacy manager Sara Salar's team. Start date according to agreement.

We are looking for someone who is a pharmacy technician with pharmacy technician education at the higher vocational level or equivalent. To thrive in the role, we believe you have a genuine interest in helping customers achieve good medication use and better health. We also believe you thrive best when you are part of a dedicated team working towards common goals. At the pharmacy, we support each other in our daily work and together create a pleasant, sustainable, and safe working environment where we develop, have fun, and celebrate our successes. There is also strong regional and service organization support as well as colleagues across the country.

Your application

If this sounds like the right challenge for you, do not hesitate to send your application to us. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously. In your application, we would like to have your CV or your LinkedIn profile. Cover letter? You can skip that! We are interested in your skills; we will get to know you in a potential interview.

At the end of the recruitment process, we apply a background check on all individuals we wish to hire, regardless of role or function. As we only apply this to the final candidate, we will inform you more about it later.

Warm welcome with your application!

We care more – and that is also something we share with our union partners and together we work for a world that feels good. To get in touch with our union representatives, you can email Stephanie Nielsen at Unionen at [email protected] or Aisha Karimi at Sveriges Farmaceuter at [email protected]. Do you want to delve into our collective agreement? You can find the entire agreement here!

So which path do you want to take to discover your full potential? Lead, broaden, or deepen – the choice is yours!

We believe that every employee has their own unique journey to make, and we are here to support you on that journey. Through well-being conversations and our competence time plan, we tailor a development path that suits you. Perhaps you want to become the pharmacy's star in customer service, or maybe you are tempted to dive deeper into our digital world? The possibilities are endless! 🚀
