The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and includes elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves providing care and support by focusing on the strengths of each individual. Your tasks include assisting residents with daily activities as well as participating in the activities offered to them. We encourage new ideas and initiatives to ensure that our residents have as meaningful a life as possible. We work with a salutogenic approach, always centering on the needs of the residents, motivating and stimulating them in their daily lives based on each resident's conditions, needs, and wishes. You will work according to the implementation plan created in consultation with the resident, and documentation is a very important part of the daily work.

Your role also includes collaboration with colleagues, improving, developing, and driving the operations forward. You will perform health care tasks as delegated, and the work includes documentation according to current legislation. The role also includes being a contact person for some of the residents.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Certified nursing assistant or other education that the employer can assess as equivalent.
  • Experience in elderly care or other experience that can be assessed as equivalent. Preferably experience with elderly individuals with cognitive impairments.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
  • Good computer skills.

Meritorious for the position is:

  • Further education as a specialist nursing assistant.
  • Knowledge and experience in social documentation.
  • Interest in culture, music, technology, or nature, etc., that can be valuable for our elderly.

As a person, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, and you base your actions on the equal value of all. You can oversee your own area of responsibility and show interest in and collaborate on overarching issues to create added value for our elderly. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals and contribute to the whole. In addition, you have the ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
