About the role

In this role, you will be a GIS consultant with a strong focus on the Enterprise platform and its various components. The role often involves taking architectural responsibility when the assignment requires it, while the scope varies depending on the client's needs. In your assignments, your knowledge of how a platform is loaded, aligning user patterns with server sizing, and your ability to create stable and sustainable solutions will be tested. You will ensure that servers and environments are healthy, that capacity and robustness follow the usage of our products, and that the client's platform is built in a way that allows for further development. You will be placed in a team of colleagues with expertise in both IT and GIS. We help each other, share knowledge, and build solutions together that make a real difference in society.

Your responsibilities

• Discuss architecture and provide guidance on issues related to integrations, performance, security, automation, and operability
• Understand and interpret user patterns related to business needs and goals
• Design solutions that support a stable and sustainable GIS platform
• Work with management and skills development at the client
• Conduct technical analyses and engage in dialogues both internally and with the client

Qualifications and personal qualities

• We believe you have a relevant background and experience in IT, which may be in the areas of IT technology, GIS, or GIS technology
• We believe you have at least 5 years of work experience and have faced enough different challenges in IT or in the interface between IT and GIS, business and platforms
• Relevant higher education in IT, GIS, or equivalent work experience
• You need to be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with server operations, infrastructure, or other mission-critical systems
• Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise, installation, administration, or development of GIS solutions
• Work with databases and infrastructure as code
• Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes or containerized operations
