About the Unit

You will serve at Skaraborg Air Force Wing F 7 in the Flight Systems Section Combat Aircraft (FSS STRF). FSS STRF includes operational system engineers, planning engineers, material planners, and technical accounting clerks. The section is part of the air operator's technical organization, overall functionally led by the central technical manager. FSS STRF is locally responsible for Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) regarding combat aircraft and air base material. Civilly, this corresponds to Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).

Main Responsibilities

The position is focused on material planning related to the maintenance of the JAS 39 Gripen aircraft. In your team, technical and logistical matters are handled, and a large part of the tasks are performed in the relevant aircraft maintenance systems. Duty and on-call service during evenings and weekends may occur.

The role of the material planner includes the following areas of work:

Material planning of assigned material regarding maintenance, modification, and availability
Determining actions for material
Ordering component maintenance and modification
Inputting and updating current data systems
Material follow-up in the operational follow-up system

Qualifications

Approved high school diploma
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
Good computer skills
Driving license B manual transmission
Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance

Personal Qualities

You should have the ability to independently drive issues within the work area and have good collaboration skills as the work involves contact with several different actors. You should also be structured and able to easily understand and relate to regulations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
