Within the social administration, there are the operational areas SOL and LSS, where we work to provide support and assistance to individuals with various disabilities. The municipality has several group and service homes within LSS and SOL-psychiatric disabilities and addiction focus. Here, dedicated employees contribute every day to ensuring that users have a safe, meaningful, and good everyday life.

We are now looking for summer substitutes – both for those who want to work on a schedule and those who want to take individual shifts. If you have experience and the ability to work now and during the summer, you are warmly welcome to apply. We offer day, evening, and night shifts, and we appreciate if you are flexible as needs may arise at short notice.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant within LSS or SOL, you will, among other things:

• Provide support, service, and motivation in daily living
• Assist with daily chores and home maintenance
• Be responsible for and participate in cooking
• Contribute to a meaningful everyday life for the residents
• Assist with booking healthcare and escorting
• Participate in and lead social activities
• Together with colleagues, take responsibility for shared areas and a pleasant environment
• Maintain contact with relatives and other partners

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications SOL

• Be a trained nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry/mental health worker or have other healthcare-related education
• Have experience working with individuals with mental disabilities
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Familiar with documentation and have experience writing action plans.
• It is an advantage if you have:
• Driving license B
• Experience with, for example, schizophrenia, dementia, ADHD, diabetes, addiction, aggressive behavior, self-harm, low-arousal approach.

We are looking for someone who is secure, proactive, and calm in unpredictable situations. You are attentive, flexible, and can take initiative within given frameworks. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications LSS

• Be a trained nursing assistant, childcare worker, or have other relevant education
• Have experience working with individuals with mental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or intellectual disabilities
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Familiar with documentation/Experience writing action plans.
• It is an advantage if you have:
• Driving license B
• Visual support
• Sign language

We are looking for someone who is secure in themselves, has a genuine interest in the target group, and puts the users in focus. You are flexible, responsible, and collaborate well with both colleagues and relatives. If you have a creative side, that is a plus in several of our operations. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
