The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients referred under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). We also have a mandate to care for particularly demanding patients under the Psychiatric Compulsory Care Act (LPT). The clinic has 135 care places, divided into ten departments. The tenth department will open on March 2, 2026. Department 99 has for many years been located at Sundsvall Hospital but is now moving in early March to newly renovated premises at the clinic in Nacksta, where we are now gathering the entire operation after expansion and renovation. We are now looking for a new colleague for Department 99!

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-03-01 or according to agreement.

Nurse for the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic Dept 99, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

• In your profession, you participate in planning, evaluation, implementation of nursing measures, and manage medication administration.
• You will also participate in risk assessments, care planning, and functional assessments.
• Within RPK, we work with a contact person system where you, as a nurse, have a nursing responsibility.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Are a trained psychiatric nurse
• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have additional language skills
