Job Responsibilities

The Municipal Technology unit Landscape Maintenance is seeking additional staff and summer workers for the 2026 season. With us, you will help maintain Malmö's outdoor environment: parks, streets, squares, beaches, and around public buildings. We are looking for individuals who want to work with park and green space maintenance as well as waste management.

The maintenance includes, among other things, weeding, manual and mechanical cleaning, maintenance of grass areas, bushes, and trees, gravel and asphalt surfaces. You will be part of a smaller work team which requires good collaboration skills and attentiveness. Some tasks may involve more independent work.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a high school education. Training in green space maintenance is an advantage.

We see that you have work experience from the gardening industry such as park and green space maintenance and/or waste management or other relevant experience. For us, a high service mentality is very important. Therefore, we have high expectations for your good sense of service and flexibility in meeting others, as well as a sense of responsibility and pride in your professional performance.

Some tasks may involve more independent work, which requires your ability to plan how the task should be performed and to take your own initiatives based on the task description.

Requirements for the position are a B driver's license and basic knowledge of the Swedish language. You must understand oral and written instructions. You have basic technical skills regarding the use of iPads.
