Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you will create tasty and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability.

The position includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist in menu planning and inventory.

About Restaurant Kabyssen

Restaurant Kabyssen is located within the Volvo Penta area in Vara, serving breakfast and lunch to 50-70 people daily. We cook everything from scratch with love, and some catering occurs. We are currently two people who need to be strengthened with another star in the kitchen. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with reservations for changes, and the unit is closed for four weeks during the summer.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old
• You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent
• You have previous experience in restaurant work
• You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently
• You take responsibility through your passion to maintain a high level of service and quality in what you deliver
• You see your significance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating
• You can take your own initiatives and are flexible in your professional role
• You speak and write Swedish
• Experience with menu planning systems is a plus
