Do you want to work operationally with purchasing, material planning, and logistics in a growing technology company within the global marine industry? OXE Marine is now looking for a solution-oriented and unpretentious operational buyer who wants to help ensure that market-leading diesel outboards are delivered on time – worldwide. Welcome with your application!

About the position

This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent employment. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and it is stated that OXE Marine intends to offer you employment with them in the long term. This gives both you and OXE Marine a great opportunity to get to know each other and evaluate how you enjoy your collaboration.

🚀 About the company

OXE Marine is a Swedish company at the forefront that develops, manufactures, and supports the world's first high-performance diesel outboards. The company has its headquarters in Ängelholm and sales and manufacturing operations in the USA, with an international network of dealers and agents. Their products are used globally by governments, commercial shipping, and the leisure segment. OXE Marine's engines are characterized by long range, stability, halved fuel consumption compared to many competitors, and high environmental performance. The company is a market leader in its niche and works with patented technology and extensive collaborations with some of the world's leading engine manufacturers.

On the purchasing side, OXE Marine is on a journey from a development-focused company to a more production-oriented organization, while simultaneously building up aftermarket and spare parts management. You will be part of a smaller, competent team with short decision-making paths and a culture characterized by high pace, close collaboration, humor, and unpretentiousness. Here, you thrive if you want to help build structure, influence flows, and be close to the product.

💼 Responsibilities

As an operational buyer at OXE Marine, you are responsible for ensuring effective and reliable purchases for production and aftermarket. You work with ongoing order placement, follow-up of orders, and handling deviations in close dialogue with the company's suppliers. The role includes updating item information and working in the business system Dynamics 365 Business Central.

An important part of the job is to contribute to the establishment of spare parts flows for larger customers and partners. This means that you follow up inventory balances, ensure good access to spare parts, and keep item data and prices updated in the system. You have many contact points internally and collaborate closely with the purchasing team, warehouse, quality department, and aftermarket. This includes booking delivery inspections with the quality team and keeping the aftermarket informed about the status of orders and deliveries.

  • Operational purchasing, including order placement, follow-up, and handling deviations

  • Supplier communication and updating of item data

  • Support in building and following up spare parts flows

  • Collaboration with internal functions regarding deliveries and materials

  • Contribute to developing and improving purchasing and material processes

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Experience in operational purchasing, preferably from manufacturing industry or technical production

  • Experience in managing many items and purchases with high values

  • Familiarity with international supplier contacts

  • Good business system skills

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

To thrive in the role, we believe you are a person who appreciates a high pace and can easily prioritize when conditions change. You are stress-resistant, take responsibility for your tasks, and can drive your work forward without losing structure. You are unpretentious and enjoy collaborating closely with colleagues in the purchasing team, warehouse, quality, and aftermarket. Communication is a natural part of your everyday life – you are clear, social, and enjoy many contact points, both internally and externally. We also see that you have a solution-oriented approach to work. You like to keep track of numbers, inventory balances, and forecasts, and are motivated to find smarter and more efficient flows. An interest in technology and engines often makes the role even more enjoyable, but most importantly, you are curious and want to understand the product and the business.
