Our own workshop with 80 employees is an important component of the operation. The workshop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of both our own vehicles and external customers' locomotives, wagons, and railcars. We also have a department that works with modifications and overhauls. Our commitment to social benefit and the environment is a central part of our values. About the Job

We are now looking for an engaged and curious technician for our workshop in Kristinehamn. We believe that you applying for the position are technically and mechanically skilled and place great value on quality. The position involves service, repairs, and troubleshooting of railway vehicles. In this role, you will often be in contact with larger and therefore heavier parts and not as much involvement in fine mechanics.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a mechanical background, who enjoys working with their hands and is meticulous. Someone who works as a vehicle mechanic or in heavy industry. It is an advantage if you have experience as a mechanic for railway vehicles, truck mechanics, or machine mechanics, but if you have worked on other types of vehicles, that can be just as valuable. Furthermore, we hope you are a good colleague who fits well into the group and communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
