About the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to help create pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environments in Lund Municipality.

As a seasonal worker with us, you will be part of a team within the object management unit, where you will be responsible for maintaining green areas at schools, preschools, elderly homes, and other municipal activities. The work is varied and takes place both independently and in groups. You will work with tasks such as: lawn mowing, brush clearing, weed removal, hedge trimming, pruning, soil improvement, planting, and watering, as well as other maintenance tasks in our outdoor environments.

We are looking for you

To thrive in this role, we believe you are cooperative, responsible, and service-oriented. You have experience or a strong interest in green space maintenance and are comfortable with physical work. A good understanding of the Swedish language is a requirement for the position. A B driver's license, education in the field, and experience driving larger service vehicles are advantageous.

About the Recruitment Process

In this recruitment, we have chosen to remove the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions. Your answers will be an important part of our selection process.

Please note that selection and interviews will take place continuously, and we will fill four out of a total of eight positions before the application deadline. Therefore, we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. Four of the positions are for the period March 1–October 31. The remaining four positions are for the period April 1–September 30.

About the Workplace

The Service Administration meets the needs of Lund Municipality's other administrations and municipal companies for service. We have about 600 employees. Together, we work to build and manage the municipality's buildings, premises, and housing, ensuring they are intact, clean, and functioning as they should. We prepare meals for the municipality's children, youth, and elderly, take care of green areas around the municipality's buildings, and manage the municipality's vehicles and transport.
