Önnestadsgymnasiet is located between Kristianstad and Hässleholm with good commuting opportunities. The school offers agricultural education at the upper secondary level with a focus on farming, forestry, horses, nature tourism, and animal care. In recent years, the school has experienced incredible growth, nearly doubling the number of students, making us one of Sweden's largest agricultural schools. This has enabled significant investments, and the operations have been thoroughly upgraded.

The operational area covers approximately 400 hectares of arable land, of which 70 hectares are KRAV-certified, 65 hectares of pasture, 150 hectares of forest, 65 dairy cows, 126 sows, and 35 KRAV-certified heifers.

Our owners, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne, are a membership organization with about 5,500 members. HS develops rural areas and the green sectors. Research, advice, education, field trials – all to live up to our promise of knowledge for the country's future.

We are looking for an engaged, positive, and flexible person to join our team around agricultural animals. You are a trained animal caretaker with suitable experience in milk production. You prioritize the well-being of the animals and are inspired to be an important part of our students' knowledge development.

The work mainly consists of animal care in milk production. Milking takes place in the milking pit twice a day. As the school's students practice in our barns, mentoring students is also part of the role.

The position is a temporary role covering parental leave and comprises 80%. You will be scheduled for weekend work every third weekend.
