Närhälsan is looking for a pediatric nurse for Ängabo health center

About us
Närhälsan Ängabo health center is a well-functioning unit with approximately 7,500 registered patients, beautifully located on the outskirts of Alingsås.
We are about 30 employees with good collaboration between staff categories. We have a close collaboration with the rehabilitation clinic in the building. Great emphasis is placed on a positive work environment characterized by humor and team spirit. There are good bus connections for those who commute.
In the same premises as the health center is Ängabo BVC. As one of our BVC nurses will retire, we are now looking for a replacement for her, who will work at our BVC together with another district nurse colleague.

About the job
Your tasks at BVC are varied, where you follow children with guardians from newborn until school health care takes over. You have a central role in meeting the needs of families, making medical and nursing assessments and priorities. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
You will work with health checks, vaccinations, and parent groups. The patient group is children aged 0-6 years with family. Collaboration takes place in interdisciplinary teams at the health center and cooperation also occurs with external care providers such as preschools, schools, family centers, and specialist healthcare. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.
About you
You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse or district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and young people and/or have supervisory training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

The employment rate can be adjusted according to wishes in agreement with the manager.
Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process
The selection takes place in two stages. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
