Job responsibilities

As a care assistant with us, you contribute to good care and support for users in their homes. You will work with individualized care. This may include social and physical activities, health and medical interventions, and rehabilitative measures as prescribed by licensed personnel.

A fixed care contact is part of your work. This means that you have a special responsibility for one or more individuals. Your work also includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for implementation plans.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, has the best interests of the user in focus, and completes started work. As a person, you take initiative and create trusting relationships. You are good at working both independently and in collaboration with others.

Requirements:

• Proof of protected professional title for care assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a care assistant as of July 1, 2023.
• Proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing as well as good reading comprehension.
• Basic digital competence.
• Ability to cycle.

Meritorious:

• Care and nursing college diploma.
• Experience from work in home care.
• Experience in documentation.

Other

• You will work scheduled hours such as days, evenings, and weekends. The position is a permanent employment at 100%.
• Your primary workplace will be the Ljungen unit, but you are employed in the entire Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping municipality, which means that you may work in several different units.
• Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
• Selection will take place continuously during the recruitment period.
