Lövgärdet's short-term unit is located near nature by Surtesjön.

In the short-term unit, individuals stay for a limited time with the goal of regaining, maintaining, or strengthening their ability to manage daily life – which enables them to stay in their homes as much as possible.

We are looking for engaged nursing assistants who want to help develop our short-term unit together with us.

As a nursing assistant with us, you play an important role in creating a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for our short-term residents. You work from a rehabilitative and person-centered approach, focusing on the individual's resources and the healthy aspects.

Your tasks include, among other things: personal care, support during meals, and motivation and encouragement in daily activities. You provide social support and engage in conversations with the residents as well as collaborate with relatives and other professionals. The work also includes documentation in the organization's IT system and tasks performed at the request of licensed personnel.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title or can prove previous employment as a nursing assistant at the introduction of the new regulations.
• Has good experience with documentation in IT systems
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Further education in healthcare and social services
• Experience from elderly care or short-term operations

In this role, you will meet many people, which requires good collaboration skills and the ability to work towards common goals. You are respectful and attentive in your interactions and always have the residents' best interests in focus. Since the work may involve changes in planning, you need to be able to remain calm, handle different demands, and prioritize when the situation requires it.
