Instructor in Automation & Robotics

Teknikakademin is looking for an instructor in automation and robotics. This role is suitable for those with broad technical expertise in industrial automation, robotics, and modern digital production methods, who want to educate the future automation technicians.

You will plan, implement, and develop teaching in automation, robot programming, AI, cybersecurity, and sustainable production. The teaching consists of both theoretical components and practical applications in preparation for the LIA periods.

• Teach automation technology, robot programming, and PLC

• Introduce electrical systems, components, and basic programming

• Teach AI and machine learning in automation

• Convey knowledge about cybersecurity in automated systems

• Teach sustainable production and energy management

• Guide students in projects, labs, and LIA-related activities

• Ensure quality and develop course materials

• Excellent knowledge in industrial automation, robotics, or PLC

• Experience with electrical systems, control, or industrial digitization

• Understanding of modern automation solutions and safety aspects

• Relevant technical education and/or equivalent professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience with AI/ML in automation

• Experience with cybersecurity in industrial environments

• Previous experience as an instructor or mentor

• Experience with project work or leading smaller projects
