During the summer, our outdoor environment department focuses on keeping our areas clean and tidy, which includes keeping playgrounds, green areas, and flower beds free from weeds, trash, and the like. All to ensure our tenants feel at home and to create pleasant and safe areas throughout Gävle.

We are currently looking for summer youth who want to help us create clean, tidy, and safe outdoor environments for our tenants!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with other summer youth and supervisors, you will be responsible for maintaining order in our areas. You will do this by:

• Cleaning courtyards and other common areas
• Weeding flower beds and playgrounds
• Handling other maintenance tasks as needed

The duration of the summer job is 3-4 weeks. You will work Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00 with two half-hour breaks during the day. The salary is according to the collective agreement with the Property Employees' Union.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a summer youth at Gavlegårdarna, you will have the opportunity to experience working life. What we expect from you is that you are a good ambassador for Gavlegårdarna by collaborating with your colleagues to perform your tasks in the best possible way. You contribute to a good atmosphere in the group, show respect, and take responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.

To work with us during the summer of 2026, you must be between 16-18 years old (born in 2008, 2009, or 2010), and you or your parents/guardians must be tenants, meaning living at Gavlegårdarna.
