We are looking for summer substitutes for Vardaga home care

We are looking for several summer substitutes and offer a meaningful extra job where you can make a difference for another person, gain valuable work experience, and get to know wonderful colleagues at the workplace. In home care, we primarily travel by bike, but also on foot and in some cases by car. Physical activity and (hopefully) sunshine during working hours are included as an extra bonus.

We are looking for you who can work with us in the summer of 2024 - primarily weeks 24-32. It is an advantage if you can start as a substitute already in the spring.

We have a sheltered housing in the Ullstämma district, with adapted apartments as well as daily lunch service and a solid recreational offering for our elderly. The primary task is home care work with our customers in their own homes - both personal care and domestic services are included.

Your mission

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Home care work with our customers in the area, including personal care and domestic services - e.g. showering, shopping, distribution of meal boxes, and responding to security alarms.

You work with delegation from a nurse and express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing; documentation is included as part of the job. We work with time and effort registration.

You are part of a well-established team with close contact with team leaders and colleagues. Contact with the nurse is made through home health care.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with the elderly and providing care according to their needs. You enjoy working independently and understand the importance of good communication in every situation. If you have experience in care work, it is a great advantage. Biking is a basic requirement, and a driver's license is a bonus.

You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
