Job Description

We are looking for a school nurse for a pleasant temporary position at a primary school in Västerås. The position is a temporary role starting in week 8 of 2026 (or as close as possible) and ending in October 2026.

We are looking for someone who is either an established school nurse or someone who is curious and wants to try their first role as a school nurse.

Your Background

You must be a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in open healthcare, healthcare for children and youth, or school health care.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. We believe you will recognize yourself in several of the following traits:

- Experienced in planning and structuring your work

- Proactive and action-oriented

- Social with a desire to work together in interdisciplinary teams

- Solution-oriented

- A strong interest in the development of children and youth

- A keen interest in and curiosity about preventive student health

Experience as a school nurse is an advantage but not a requirement.
