The Advice and Support unit is a service unit within the Social Services in Knivsta, consisting of 18 employees and a unit manager. The tasks of Advice and Support span a wide field and encompass almost all the interventions that the municipality offers within the framework of open care for individuals and families. We have a systemic theoretical approach that permeates all parts of our work. We are a stable, well-educated, and experienced team. We are now looking for someone who wants to strengthen our team while a colleague is on parental leave.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Advice and Support, we work with support conversations, guidance, and treatment work. The work includes everything from general preventive measures to intensive home-based treatment. The target group includes children, adolescents, parents, and entire families. We also handle family law collaboration conversations. The unit also has staff responsible for support and treatment for adults with addiction problems as well as victims and perpetrators of violence.

The tasks at Advice and Support are very varied, and the needs of those seeking support from us differ greatly. This requires great flexibility from the therapists. The tasks are performed both independently and together with colleagues in the unit. As a family therapist at Advice and Support, you need to be prepared to work within most of the unit's areas of responsibility. Work takes place both in our visiting facilities and in clients' home environments, often in collaboration with schools, student health services, healthcare providers, police, and other units within the municipality.

In collaboration with the municipality's housing support, we have developed the Family Team intervention, aimed at parents with cognitive impairments. In this position, you will work with the Family Team as well as other family treatment. The Family Team work involves close collaboration with housing support and largely includes family treatment in the home environment. The position requires that you have knowledge and experience in NPF and cognitive impairments and that you feel comfortable and secure in conducting family treatment in the home environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Several years of experience in social work with children/youth and families
• Driver's license (B)
• Knowledge and experience in NPF and cognitive impairments.

Meritorious:

• Experience in treatment work with children/youth and families.
• Further education in relevant areas/methods, e.g., COPE, ABC, Tejping, FFT, Safer Children, The Staircase, PYC, MI
