Do you want the opportunity to develop in your work and drive development together with experienced colleagues? Then take the chance to start working with us! We are now looking for someone who wants to try working night shifts.
At our infection and pulmonary medicine department, patients with diseases such as pneumonia, sepsis, wound infections, endocarditis, lung cancer, and COPD are cared for. Patients with weakened immune systems or isolation-requiring diseases such as tuberculosis are also treated here.
On the infection ward, we work in pairs with a nurse and a nursing assistant and in teams with other professionals around the patient.
Your Responsibilities
Infectious medicine is an area where conditions can change rapidly, and tasks may need to be reprioritized. Flexibility and experience in both nursing work and acute care are required.
On the infection ward, we work to support the patient in their recovery and to promote and maintain the patient's own resources and abilities. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for the basic care of the patient and to meet their care needs.
The nursing assistant is also responsible for taking and registering vital parameters and other measurements and reporting to the nurse as needed. Blood sampling, wound dressings, and various microbiological tests are also common in the work.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. Previous experience in acute care or infectious care within inpatient care is desirable.
As a person, you are easy to collaborate with, and you can also work independently and take your own initiatives. The job requires that you are stress-resistant and can remain professional even in difficult situations while quickly instilling confidence in the patients we care for. You should also have a high degree of empathy and enjoy meeting different patient categories.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
