We are looking for a strategic buyer to join our team in Karlskoga, focusing on mechanical components. Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with skilled colleagues and driven leaders, and contribute to developing our supplier relationships and purchasing strategies.

Your Role

As a strategic buyer, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own supplier base. You will build long-term relationships, ensure quality and cost-effectiveness, and identify opportunities for innovation and sustainability.

You will participate in negotiations, manage contracts, and support the business units' projects and programs with commercial responsibility. The role also involves analyzing market developments and identifying improvement opportunities for our suppliers.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues across the organization, coordinate initiatives, optimize workflows, and ensure that the company's purchasing strategy and procedures are followed.

Your Profile

You have experience in strategic purchasing, where you have worked with supplier strategies, negotiations, and long-term business relationships. You have a post-secondary education in areas such as engineering, economics, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.

As a person, you are business-oriented, communicative, and structured, with the ability to build relationships and drive decisions in complex environments. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and proactive, with a sense of balance between cost, quality, and supplier relationships.
