Social Services

The Social Services department consists of 600 employees, and the breadth of the assignments is extensive. The department is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. Here, we are responsible for providing care and support, assistance and services, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens who need it, at all stages of life.

A day as a nursing assistant in Krokom municipality

As a nursing assistant with us, you will play a central role in our clients' lives. You will work with personal care and service tasks in their own homes. Your main responsibilities include:

• Personal care: Assistance with hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Medication distribution and medical tasks: After delegation, you ensure that our clients receive the correct medication and perform other medical interventions.
• Service tasks: Practical help in the home such as cleaning and shopping.
• Social support: Being a companion, listening, and contributing to a meaningful daily life.
• Documentation: Accurate and relevant documentation according to current guidelines.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in people and elderly care.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as the job involves travel between different clients' homes.
