JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The district of Åre Municipality stretches from Hallen in the east to Duved in the west and includes special housing, home care, and healthcare at home for the elderly and disabled. The work team consists of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, all based in Järpen.

We are proud of our operations and can offer you an exciting and varied job in a fantastic environment and nature. We are a dedicated, helpful, and developing rehab team. You will work throughout the municipality in our special housing, on short-term placements, and in regular housing.

Your work will include making assessments in all stages of life, training, utilizing, and developing patients' abilities, as well as working with the trial and prescription of assistive devices. An important part of this role is to identify and actively prevent health risks at all stages of life. You will also guide and educate care staff. Since the work is done in close collaboration with other staff within home care, it requires a high level of cooperation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate educational level and experience.
  • You should have a person-centered activating working method with the individual's participation in focus.
  • You are a good organizer, service-oriented, and responsible, and can perform work both independently and in a team.
