In partnership with an industrial company in Växjö, we are now looking for an Operational Purchaser for a project lasting 12 months. You will be part of a dynamic team managing purchases for seven different production sites across Europe.

At our partner, you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and be part of a larger team of purchasers.

About the role

As an Operational Purchaser, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing and following up on orders and deliveries to ensure that purchasing activities align with the company's purchasing policy and procedures
• Monitoring deliveries of items and handling deviations
• Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate prices and contracts

You will also participate in exciting development projects and work closely with technical, quality, and logistics functions within the organization. Some travel may be required for the position.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, or another relevant field
• Has at least two years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

As a person, you are expected to be engaged, proactive, and goal-oriented. You have a strong business orientation, enjoy working in teams, and possess good communication skills.

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment via OIO. As a consultant at OIO, you will receive a fixed monthly salary, paid vacation from day one, and a generous wellness allowance.
