About Us

Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the county, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

Our vision is “Healthy mouth for everyone.” This means that Folktandvården Blekinge takes responsibility for public health by investing in everything from preventive dental care to first-class specialist dental care. About the Clinic

At the clinic in Sölvesborg, we are a cheerful team consisting of five dentists, four dental hygienists, and dental nurses. The clinic is centrally located in Sölvesborg, close to bus and train stations. There is a wide range of services and communications available nearby. We are close to Blekinge's rich nature with archipelagos, sea, forests, and lakes.

About the Job

With us, you will work with both children and adults, and health aspects are central. We use a delegated working method where everyone is given the opportunity to develop and work at the top of their competence. The position may include all common dental nurse tasks such as: assistance, prophylaxis, reception, and sterilization work. We offer you varied days in a safe and structured organization with:

As a new employee, you will participate in Folktandvården's introductory program, which provides a good insight into the operations and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the county.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in crisis positions. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

Applicants who are considered for employment must present a copy of their criminal record from the Police Authority before employment.

About You

We are looking for someone with dental nurse training and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are confident, positive, and service-oriented. When everyday life changes, you can quickly see opportunities and strive to find solutions. For you, good relationships are important, and you strive to create good collaborations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
