About the position

NYAB is a young company built on decades of experience in the industry. Over the years, NYAB has completed hundreds of projects and large-scale construction works. NYAB continues to expand rapidly and now needs to strengthen the team with earthworkers for the establishment in Kiruna and Gällivare.

Of course, you will initially receive an introduction to get into the company and the role in the best possible way. You will work full-time during the peak season from May to November 2026.

Job responsibilities

As an earthworker at NYAB, you will have a varied everyday life with exciting projects for our clients. You will work with:

• Earthworks for foundations
• Paving
• Adjustment before asphalting
• Machine operation

Job tasks may vary depending on the project, and you will primarily work outdoors. A company car is available to easily take you to different projects. Working hours are normally daytime Monday–Friday 07–16, but weekend or evening work may occur. If you live outside Gällivare and Kiruna, there is an option for Monday–Thursday work or 7/7 shifts. NYAB can also assist with accommodation during the season if you reside in another location.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a B driver's license
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is unpretentious, proactive, and wants to develop within the earthworks industry
• Is a team player but can work independently when needed

Experience or education in earthworks/construction, such as water and sewage, paving, or stone setting, is an advantage, but not a requirement – the most important thing is your personal qualities.

It is also advantageous if you have experience in reading drawings and hold ESA, Work on Roads, and Safe Construction certifications, but this is not a requirement for the position.
