Passenger Environment Technician

Göteborgs Spårvägar is looking for someone with a valid driving license, cleaning experience, and a strong appreciation for teamwork.

You will become an important part of one of our teams at the depot – a team consisting of mechanics, electricians, and passenger environment technicians – where you will be part of the group responsible for keeping our trams clean and in good condition.

As a passenger environment technician, you are a key person in creating a pleasant and safe environment for both drivers and passengers. During the night shift, we focus on bringing in and setting out vehicles for the next day's traffic – ensuring they are ready to roll, whole, and clean.

Main Responsibilities:

• Heavy cleaning
• Cleaning
• Graffiti removal

The work may also include:

• Shunting trams
• Checking sand systems
• Repairing minor faults on trams

The position is a part-time employment with varying hours. We have a particular need during holidays, illness, and extra efforts. Working hours are primarily scheduled for nights.

We are looking for employees for both Depot Ringön and Rantorget.

About You

Requirements

• Class B driver's license, driving experience, and completed probationary period
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Ability to read, understand, and express yourself in technical Swedish, as it is a prerequisite for completing the training and understanding traffic and vehicle instructions
• Meet health requirements according to TSFS 2019:113 and pass a drug test

Meritorious

• Good computer skills; basic computer knowledge is important for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Practical skills, able to perform minor repairs and maintenance
• If you are also technically interested and can perform minor repairs, it is a significant advantage
• Experience with night/shift work
• Experience with heavy cleaning

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of service and delivery who enjoys working with heavy cleaning during inconvenient hours. You are responsible and take your tasks seriously, completing what you start and ensuring the work is done correctly. Since our primary focus is safety, you are also meticulous and ensure high quality. You will work closely with your colleagues in the team, which requires strong collaboration skills. If you are also loyal and flexible with a positive attitude and technically inclined, it is a significant advantage.

The position requires very good physical fitness and a fitness certificate for night work according to AFS 2019:03, as well as a passing drug test. If you are considered for shunting trams and checking sand systems, health approval for safety service according to TSFS 2019:113 and a fitness certificate for quartz dust according to AFS 2019:03 is required. These examinations are conducted by our occupational health service.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competencies.

The salary for the position is 165 SEK/hour + OB supplement.
