Job Advertisement: Cleaner at SiS Youth Home Brättegården

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Brättegården is located just outside Vänersborg. We receive non-compulsory school girls with psychosocial issues, mental health problems, as well as criminal behavior and substance abuse.

Job Description

We are expanding our staffing in cleaning services and are therefore looking for an additional full-time cleaner for SiS Youth Home Brättegården.

As a cleaner, you play an important role with us! Your work contributes to a positive image of the public space and a good environment for everyone who visits our premises.

Your tasks include daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and floor care. The work is characterized by variation, flexibility, and at times a high pace. The work is physically demanding.

Qualifications

You should have:

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
  • experience in cleaning services
  • good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form
  • computer literacy
  • driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

  • experience with ordering cleaning materials
  • PRYL or SRY training

You will be part of the administrative unit at the institution. Within the administrative unit, we work to support each other as needed. Therefore, we see it as an advantage if you have training and/or experience working in a large kitchen.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, service-oriented, meticulous, and can work independently and responsibly. You should enjoy working among people and be a collaborative person. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and suitability.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during the day, with times varying between 07:00-18:00.
