We are now looking for nursing assistants for our Bergdala elderly care facility in Kisa. The work involves care and support work with wonderful colleagues and the individual's needs at the center.

Bergdala elderly care facility consists of 71 apartments and is divided into 8 departments. Bergdala has 4 departments focused on dementia, 3 departments focused on somatic care, and one department for short-term care and nursing places. Kisa has good bus and train connections. There are also parking opportunities near the elderly care facility.

Job Description:

The care work is an important, enjoyable, and developing job where you provide support and help to people in their daily lives. We work based on a shared value foundation by considering each person's circumstances, creating participation, and making everyday life meaningful. Varied tasks await you, where you provide care and support based on individual needs.

The meeting with the individual is in focus, and you contribute to creating good relationships through a professional approach that invites participation and security for both users and relatives. The work includes, for example, implementing user interventions/decisions, contact person responsibilities, documentation according to SOL and HSL, as well as managing and being responsible for interventions delegated by licensed personnel.

What we expect from you:

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or have other training that the employer considers equivalent. Post-secondary education is an advantage, e.g., specialist training focused on dementia or geriatric psychiatry. Previous work experience in elderly care and dementia is also advantageous.

We expect you to have personal and professional maturity with good self-awareness. You have a positive attitude and see your obvious responsibility to contribute to a good work environment. You are happy to share your knowledge and experiences while being open and willing to learn from others. You are attentive and open to seeing our users' needs and have great respect for your fellow human beings. Since the role requires great flexibility, it is important that you can easily adapt to new situations and handle changes during the workday positively.

It is important that you have good computer skills and documentation ability and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.
