Do you enjoy having a lot of contact with people and have practical skills?

With us, you will be part of a stable and long-term property company where you can help create added value for people, the environment, and the community in Sundbyberg.

We offer a work environment with engaged employees, appreciated leaders, and a culture characterized by our core values – we like people, we listen curiously, we dare to challenge, and we do what we can stand for.

About the position

The position is located in the property area that currently encompasses central Sundbyberg. You will be part of a team with property hosts, gardening staff, and customer managers, but the role is largely independent and based on taking clear responsibility for your assigned properties.

As a property host, you will be responsible for the ongoing supervision and maintenance of several properties. You plan and drive your work independently and ensure that repairs and actions in apartments, premises, and common areas are carried out in a professional and efficient manner. The role suits you if you are handy, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility all the way – from reporting issues to completed actions.

An important part of the job is the daily contact with our tenants. Through a professional and service-oriented approach, you contribute to safety, comfort, and trust in our areas. You have close and continuous collaboration with your customer manager, where you together plan, prioritize, and follow up on actions in the properties.

The majority of your workday will be spent out in your properties. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:00. On Fridays, the workday ends at 14:30 during winter and at 12:10 during summer.

Main responsibilities

  • Independently perform ongoing repairs and corrective maintenance
  • Be responsible for handling and following up on reported issues in the property system
  • Inspect buildings, common areas, and operational spaces
  • Conduct SBA inspections including reporting
  • Assess when actions can be performed independently and when they should be referred to internal specialists or external suppliers
  • Order and follow up on requested actions and ensure quality and delivery
  • Review invoices according to orders and agreements
  • Handle move-ins and move-outs
  • Participate in maintenance planning together with other roles and contribute property-related knowledge
  • Attend tenant meetings
  • Through visible presence contribute to safety and comfort in our areas

Qualifications and personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, handy, and enjoys a large amount of responsibility. You see what needs to be done, plan your work in a structured manner, and take ownership of your properties and tasks.

You have practical skills and experience in ongoing repairs and property-related work. You also have the judgment to determine when actions can be performed independently and when they need to be handled by a specialist or external supplier.

You work closely with your customer manager in your daily tasks and actively contribute to joint planning, prioritization, and follow-up. At the same time, you are confident in making your own decisions and driving the work forward.

We want you to have:

  • High school education, preferably with a technical focus
  • Training in craftsmanship, property maintenance, and/or property management
  • Driver's license B is a requirement
  • Experience from a similar position or property-related business
  • Basic knowledge of economics, such as accounting and result tracking
  • Good computer skills and the ability to work in digital systems, including the Office suite

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and service-minded. You have a financial mindset, enjoy solving problems, and collaborate well with both tenants and colleagues.

Our offer

At Förvaltaren, you will be part of a workplace with sound values and a diverse group of employees who together create attractive and safe residential areas where people thrive and feel good.

We have proud, satisfied, and engaged employees who are happy to recommend Förvaltaren as an employer – something that is clearly reflected in our employee surveys year after year. Our leaders are appreciated, and our leadership index is well above the national average.

With us, you will have an independent and varied role with clear responsibilities, a good balance between work and leisure, and the opportunity to influence both work methods and development over time.
