About our operations
Iris Hadar AB conducts adult education in Malmö on behalf of Malmö City, focusing on individuals with visual or hearing impairments, including the deaf and blind. We offer SFI as well as basic and upper secondary courses.
Our goal is to create the best possible conditions for our students as they prepare for the next step in life. Our operations are characterized by high quality, great flexibility, and complete individual adaptation. We are a small but experienced organization with centrally located premises in Malmö.
About the position
We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute teacher with us, primarily in Swedish as a second language and SFI. It is an advantage if you can also substitute in other subjects at the basic and upper secondary level. In addition to Swedish, we offer courses in social studies, English, and mathematics.
We are looking for someone who
* Has a high school diploma
* Can work on short notice when needed
* Is comfortable independently leading classes
* Is flexible, curious, and has an easy time collaborating with both students and colleagues
* Is punctual and responsible
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability in this recruitment.
Meritorious
* Experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with groups, preferably within adult education or folk education
* Experience teaching participants with visual impairments, hearing impairments, deafness, or blindness
* Post-secondary education in pedagogy, education, social sciences, or a related field
* Good knowledge of languages other than Swedish
