JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a train technician focused on troubleshooting, you will work with diagnostics, ongoing maintenance, repairs, and improvements on various types of doors and related mechanical systems. The work is primarily performed in an industrial, workshop, or depot environment and includes both mechanical and electrotechnical parts of door functions, such as motors, control systems, sensors, locks, pneumatics, and safety equipment.

You will ensure that all maintenance follows applicable safety regulations, routines, and quality requirements. The role also involves conducting simpler root cause analyses, documenting completed work in maintenance systems, and contributing to continuous improvements. You play a crucial role in quickly and safely identifying fault causes to ensure high availability and operational reliability.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education in industry, mechanics, vehicles, or technology, or equivalent documented work experience. You have experience working as a maintenance mechanic/technician in industry, workshops, or production – or you have a strong technical interest and do a lot of DIY in your spare time. It is advantageous if you have authorization for electrical and electrical safety work. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Good understanding of mechanical systems and machines

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairs within vehicles or industry

• Basic knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, or hydraulics

• Ability to read and work from drawings and technical documentation

• Good computer skills for reporting in maintenance systems

As a person, you are practical, meticulous, and responsible. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate with others while also enjoying working independently. You have a safety mindset and follow routines and instructions. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as well as basic English. Shift, night, and weekend work may occur.
